Who Are Vasek Pospisil Parents And Ethnicity?

Milo and Mila welcomed Vasek into the world on June 23, 1990, in Vernon, British Columbia. To flee the Communist government, Vasek’s parents and older brothers illegally moved from Czechoslovakia to Austria in 1988, before Vasek was even born.

Milo managed a dairy production facility before the move, while Mila worked as a kindergarten teacher. Both had previous experience competing in local events and playing tennis as a recreational sport with their sons.

The family was working long hours for poor pay in northeastern Austria while saving money to relocate to Canada. They finally relocated to Vernon, British Columbia, a town in the Okanagan Valley, in the summer of 1989, since Milo’s brother had settled there after fleeing his native country years before.

It only had roughly 38,000 people living there. The entire family arrived with a rudimentary command of the English language. Milo held two jobs, one operating equipment at a brewery, the other at a flour mill.

After the birth of his third child, he started to get more interested in the sport of tennis.
