English songwriter and singer, Bernie Taupin has an estimated net worth of around $200 million. Considering that he has been a very known collaborator with Elon John for decades, it is understandable that his works have given him many millions. He is a co-writer for most of John’s memorable hit songs. He first collaborated with Taupin in 1967 when they were both looking for new songwriters and collaborators.

According to experts, the two became a perfect team because John was a very good singer and performer but couldn’t write very good lyrics. However, Bernie Taupin on the other hand was a very good lyricist but could not sing or perform so well. Taupin usually shares that, John is the best person to describe how he feels through his lyrics. While John also describes, Taupin’s lyrics as being very explanatory of how he feels as a singer.

They have both grown fondly of each other and now consider each other as family, rather than collaborators.
