Deadliest Catch: Does Sig Hansen Have a New Boat? He’s Worked In the Fishing Industry For Almost His Whole Life

Sig Hansen is an American captain of the fishing vessel FV Northwestern. Although he is a humble fishing boat captain, Sig’s career as one of the stars of Deadliest Catch has netted him more than just fish.

The descendent of a long line of Norwegian fisherman, Sig has worked in the industry since he was a young boy. He started working on his father’s fishing boat at the tender age of 14.

After completing his high school education, the budding seafarer took to fishing wholly, using that time to become very familiar with the migration patterns of fish in the Bering Sea and Alaskan waters, which set him up for continued success as time went on.

Sig Hansen’s Wife 2022: His Married Life

Sig Hansen is married to his wife, June Hansen, who is a television personality who is regularly featured on “Josh Taylor’s Prom Date,” “Deadliest Catch,” and “Deadliest Catch: Sig Hansen Legacy.”

The pair married in 2001 and have been together for almost two decades. Sig has kept the details of his love life and marriage private, rarely speaking publicly about his past before marriage. The TV celebrity has been tight-lipped about his personal life and how he met June.

June has also had a number of health issues throughout her marriage. Sig, her husband, had two massive heart attacks. June, on the other hand, was always by her husband’s side, which helped Sig’s recovery.

Recently, tragedy struck once more. It did, however, fall in June. She told Sig that she was suffering from cancer and that her health was failing. June is fortunate in that she has the support of her husband and children during this difficult period.
