Before KKTV 11 News, she was a Weekend Meteorologist at Pappas Telecasting in Kearney, NE from May 2012 – May 2014. She was a Weather Intern at KTVK 3TV Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona, from June 2011 – August 2011.

She started her career in weather in Kearney, Nebraska, where she spent 2 years in the Good Life state forecasting tornadoes, ice storms, and everything in between! At one time, she interned at KTVK, back home in Arizona, and thus worked hard to be a Broadcast Meteorologist. After her time in the Springs, she moved up to Denver where she forecast the weather across the country on the national network, WeatherNation. She’s happy to be back in Colorado Springs again with the team at Fox. She is a Phoenix native. During her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Jax, and is always looking for new trails to explore. She also enjoys cooking and baking, and thrifting old furniture for DIY projects. She is a huge sci-fi nerd, an obsession that started as a child with Harry Potter. When she is not at work you can usually find her on a trail or binge-watching Game of Thrones.

She graduated with honors with her bachelor’s in Meteorology from Western Connecticut State University. When she was a senior in the Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) meteorology program, she was Vice President of the Meteorology Club and was involved in several clubs and organizations on campus.

Emily Roehler Age

Emily Roehler’s age is unclear. She is a native of Phoenix. Roehler told VoyageDenver that growing up “I have always been a very shy person and HATED public speaking. A lot of people are surprised to hear that given what I do but it is completely different. I am in a room with cameras and people I know, not in front of a ton of strangers, or at least that is how I look at it. Speaking at events is still really hard for me but not like it was when I was in elementary school or high school. I was able to get past my crippling fear of public speaking, or at least seem like I was more comfortable, in college. I was also pretty introverted growing up and really enjoyed reading and being creative. Art class was always my favorite!”
