Emmerdale actor Ash Palmisciano is not married but very committed to his new partner Shea Rowan. She is an actress known for movies like Broken Flowers (2005), Crimson Tide (1995), and A Beautiful Mind (2001).

Ash Palmisciano stunned the viewers with his role as Matty Barton on Soap Opera Emmerdale ever since his debut in 2018. The 31-year-old is an appreciated depiction of returning character of Matty in the series.

Ash embarked on a major narrative in the Dale to replace Grace Cassidy, who played the role from 2009 to 2012. He joined Emmerdale in 2018. In his years away from the Dales, his character Matty was said to have changed when he came back to the village.

The producer urged him to try an on-screen role for the character of Matty when Ash said that he was an actor. Palmisciano became a full-time cast member of the serial opera.

Shea Rowan Is Also An Actress

Ash Palmisciano’s girlfriend Shea Rowan is an actress but has not been active nowadays. She enjoys the time with her actor partner.

Shea has been seen in movies from the 90s until the 2000s but halted her acting career. If Rowan is the same person the actress mentioned on IMDb, she must be very fortunate to act in the movie Ron Howard’s A Beautiful Mind.

The Emmerdale star thanked talk show host Lorraine Kelly for the relationship and mentioned his girlfriend in her show.

Meanwhile, Ash Palmisciano discussed the difficult time he had coping with the death of his mother last year. Ash lost his mother Michelle in May at 60 after a protracted struggle with rheumatoid arthritis.

The actor considers himself lucky to have had parents who showered him and his younger sister with love. However, he also insisted that he wasn’t ready for the grief that followed his sister’s loss.

Ash Palmisciano As A Child and Before After Photos

In reality, Ash Palmisciano lived two characters in the body. He was assigned female at birth but had to go through three surgeries to become a man.

The transition of these surgeries started in 2012. Although growing up was rather complicated, Ash was certain that he wanted to be an actress. There weren’t many professional options for performers in his town Leamington Spa, especially those from working-class origins.

Palmisciano was also struggling in private with the fact that he wasn’t being who he really was in my daily life. Ash was aware of his differences since young child. However, he didn’t understand the differences because there was no information available concerning these issues.

Growing up, Palmisciano had reached the conclusion that he was different. He was terrified of telling anyone and was open up about it to his parents.

As a result, Ash kept it to himself and continued acting like a lady. However, in 2012 he was forced to be open with my family and his parents didn’t know what to do and were worried about how to support him in the future.

Finally, Ash found his way to success through his acting career in Emmerdale.
