While Jennifer Jones is a successful curler, she is equally good at parenting as a mother of two children with her husband Brent Laing.

The Canadian Curler, whose full name is Jennifer Judith Jones is a champion athlete and currently the Skip, aka the captain, of her country’s national team.

Previously an Olympic champion whose team won under her captaincy in 2014, she was the first female skip to go through all the games in the competition undefeated.

The Curling player has multiple achievements not only at the international level but also national as well as provincial. Her squad also won the World Women’s Curling Championship twice, in 2008 and 2018.

The pro player has also won the national championship six times, most recently in 2018. At the provincial level, she also won the Manitoba provincial championship 11 times.

More than any other female captain in the world, she has also won 15 Grand Slam of Curling events on the World Curling Tour. Her highly decorated career led her to be named the greatest Canadian female skip and overall curler in history in a TSN poll of broadcasters, reporters and top curlers

She is once again representing Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

How Many Children Does Jennifer Jones Have With Husband Brent Laing?

Canadian Curling Skip Jennifer Jones has two children with her husband Brent Laing, namely Isabella and Skyla.

Born on 13 November 2012, her first daughter Isabella was born prematurely in Barrie, Ontario. However, despite the premature birth, the baby was healthy weighing over 3.2 kilograms and she is a happy child growing up perfectly.

The couple got blessed with their second daughter Skyla Carol on 18 August 2016 without a hitch. Both of their children are featured regularly on their Instagram, and their cute moments are shared with followers who enjoy watching them grow up.

The pro athlete married someone from her sport, as her husband was also a Canadian curler from Horseshoe Valley, Ontario. On many occasions, she has recounted her marriage with him being long distance, as the couple got engaged in May 2014 and married in 2015, when Jennifer was still growing in her career.

They tied their knots in Mexico, in presence of their eldest daughter.

In late 2016, she moved to Shanty Bay, near Barrie, Ontario, with her family. However, that was only possible after a residency policy change adopted by Curling Canada in 2015 that allowed one member of a team to live out-of-province and continue to represent the province, as the Canadian captain represented Winnipeg Province in her games and her husband played for Ontario.

While she is still a professional athlete, her husband currently works as an entrepreneur for World Financial Group, Canada.

Jennifer Jones Family Details

Jennifer Jones was born in a Canadian family to parents Larry and Carol Jones. She also has a sister named Heather, who is 18 months older than her.

Both of her parents were also curlers and enjoyed the sport immensely. Her father was the one who taught the athlete to play the game. However, she recounts that her interest in the sport took up a long time before, but as a shy kid, she could not share that with her parents.

Born on July 7, 1974, the Canadian curling captain later took up the game professionally with the support of her family and went on to be one of the most decorated athletes of her country.
