How Much Weight Did David Harbour Lose?

In a 2021 interview with the New York Times (via Hollywood Life), Harbour discussed gaining weight for Black Widow and reducing it for the flashback sequences in the Marvel film.

The actor claims to have shed 60 pounds in preparation for the 2021 release of the film.

According to Page Six, Harbour’s participation in Stranger Things seasons 4 played a part in his weight loss.

Of course, we all know that his character Hopper is incarcerated in a Russian prison for most of the season, eating subpar food and working hard by hand.

Hopper Weight Loss Diet And Tips

The star of “Stranger Things,” sporting a noticeably slimmer physique, stated that he had found the best weight-loss secret.

At the Delacorte Theater in Central Park on Monday for The Public Theater’s annual gala, he chuckled as he told Page Six, “It’s just not eating. You try all these different things, like eating more protein and other things, but eventually, you just quit eating and lose weight.

Harbour, 46, jokingly remarked, “I’m pretty adept at putting on weight; it’s my favorite thing to do.”

He did acknowledge, however, that “it’s extremely s-tty to take it off, though.”

His role as Jim Hopper in “Stranger Things,” in which Season 3 left viewers fearing that his character was dead, contributed to the weight reduction.
