You can recharge your Airtel card using the new USSD code *311#. This is a unified code for recharging cards for all mobile networks in Nigeria, including Airtel Nigeria. You can also recharge your Airtel card from your bank account.

Recharging your phone using the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) code remains the easiest way to load phone credits. Telecommunication companies like Airtel make use of USSD codes to drive revenue, connect with their customers, and even enhance convenience. So when you are not internet-enabled to load credits from your bank account, then buying a card from the nearest vendor and recharging it would be your next best option.  Find below the various steps you can take to recharge your Airtel card in Nigeria.

What is Airtel Recharge Pin?

The Airtel recharge pin is a 16-digit pin Airtel customers use to recharge their phone line.  These 16 digits are arranged in four patches, with four digits per patch, for clarity’s sake. For instance, the 16-digit PIN appears in this form 0000 0000 0000 0000.

Moreover, for the Airtel pin to work, it is accompanied by a short code *311#. The two sets of digits work together to give us a recharge pin. So, if you want to recharge an Airtel card in your phone, you will need a combination of both the Airtel PIN and a short code. When you do not enter the PIN correctly, or the PIN is incomplete, your recharge will not be successful.

How Many Digits is Airtel Recharge Card?

The Airtel Nigeria Airtime Recharge Card contains a total of sixteen (16) digits. If the Voucher PIN is less or above 16 digits, it is either not correct or is not an Airtel Recharge card.
