A 24-year-old North Miami, Fla., lady was captured regarding the demise of her girl after she purportedly called 911 and told the dispatcher she killed the young lady, as indicated by a capture testimony. Jellissa Baxter was accused of first-degree murder and youngster misuse.

She was denied bond at her most memorable appearance before an adjudicator, and at present being held at Turner Guilford Knight Restorative Center in Miami.

In the early morning hours on Tuesday, Baxter supposedly let a 911 dispatcher know that she had killed her 3-year-old girl.

“At the point when asked how she murdered her girl, the [defendant] answered she choked her from the start, yet when that didn’t work, she cut her in the chest and neck,” police expressed in the oath. North Miami Police showed up to Baxter’s home and found the departed body of a little kid with “profound cut injuries” to her chest, neck and face, the reports state.

“The blade was situated close to the casualty’s body,” the affirmation states.

Baxter’s stepfather Harold Hemmings let NBC6 know that he’d met Baxter and her kid once after her Baxter’s mom died from malignant growth last year.

“She appeared as though she was a decent mother,” he told the station. In any case, after hearing the news, Hemmings told the news station he doesn’t have the foggiest idea why Baxter would do what she’s blamed for. “She’s debilitated,” Hemmings said. “That is all I can say, she’s debilitated.”

Baxter will be charged one month from now, CBSMiami revealed. It was hazy whether she got a lawyer to talk for her sake.
