Is Dr. Carrie Bourassa Indigenous Or Not? This question is currently all over the web after she was given an indefinite leave without pay for matters regarding her indigenous identity.

Dr. Carrie Bourassa is a Canadian doctor and medical personality who has spent over 2 decades of her life in different professional medical fields.

She has made most of her contributions at the University of Saskatchewan as a Professor as well as the director of the concerned authorities.

And not just that, but she has also been widely known for her role as the scientific director of the Indigenous health arm of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).

She has many other contributions and active participation in different medical fields relating to an indigenous connection.

However, there have been some issues recently that have made her currently inapplicable for any of these jobs she has or had, but more on that later.

Concerns regarding her indigenous claims being fake, her family, parents, sisters, husband, and similar relevant matters are rising all over the web right now.

Who Are Dr. Carrie Bourassa Parents? Meet Her Sister

Dr. Carrie Bourassa was born to her parents in Saskatchewan.

However, there is nothing specific available about her parents because if there was, the recent controversial topic of her not being indigenous would not even come ahead.

Well, we do know that she was born to very poor parents who did not have access to quality education and were taught just until grade 8.

She was the first person from her family to ever complete school and go to a university because where she grew up, it was a mess of people involved in addiction and trauma.

She also talked a little about her grandfather who was actually much more supportive of her than her parents in terms of studies and others.

Talking about her sister, there is not much information on if she has a sister or not, and even if she does, we are unknown about her identity.

If there were enough ties to her family, then it would be easy to find out her indigenous ties.

Yes, Carrie Bourassa is a married woman, who has been with her husband Chad for quite some time now.

Well, his full name or his identity as an individual is not revealed anywhere yet, but she is surely a married woman.

Also, she has given birth to 2 children with her husband, her 2 daughters, Victoria and Lillie. Her elder daughter Victoria is 18 and her younger daughter is just 7.

Anyways, we do know now that has surely been married for nearly 2 decades.

Is Carrie Bourassa Indegenous Or Not?

Carrie Bourassa claims that she is indigenous which is why she has been working via indigenous connections in different organizations.

She claims that she is Métis, Anishnaabe, and Tlingit but when she was asked for proof of her indigenous identity a few years ago, there was nothing to show.

She has yet not brought or shown any proof of evidence that has shown if she is indigenous really or not, so things have gotten complicated.

Indeed, she has been sent for an indefinite leave without pay for this very reason.
