Family Sins Movie

Family Sins is a CBS network television movie that is based on the true story of Frances Burt, a Rhode Island woman.

Kirstie Alley portrays a well-liked mother and community leader. She is suspected of a hidden life of criminal activity and inhumanity and viciously bullies her family into cooperating with her. Will Patton plays the prosecutor, who is hell-bent on catching her.

Frances Burt is fictionalized as Brenda Geck, a New Hampshire housewife whose kind, church-going, upstanding citizen appearance hides a role as the head, more or less, of her own crime family.
