Is Rebecca Pregnant In Ted Lasso?

Yes, Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 3 suggests Rebecca would be pregnant when she visits Tish the Psyshic. The episode aired on March 29, 2023.

In the episode, Welton visits a psychic to get a reading about her future. The meeting was never going to go well, as we can tell Welton isn’t the most spiritual person in the series.

It starts when she reluctantly sits down for a reading, and Tish the Psychic has three visions about her future. She mentions a green matchbook, shite in nining armor, thunder and lightning, and upside-down Rebecca.

Welton then pulls her hand and says, “that’s enough.” It’s a lot to take in for a skeptic person like her. But when she’s about to walk away, Tish reveals a fourth prophecy and says, “You will have a family.”

“You’re going to be a mother,” she adds more specifically. The comment elicits a strong emotional response because she has always wanted to be a mother. She snaps at Tish and walks away.

If we recall, Welton and Rupert didn’t have any kids during their marriage as Rupert didn’t want any kids. She then gave up hope of being a mother after they split.

She was devastated when her ex told her his new girl Bex was pregnant. He cruelly said he didn’t want to have kids with her.

Welton now believes kids aren’t in her cards at this stage. Following her past experience, she thinks the Psychic must be full of Shite. But giving birth to a child isn’t the only way to become a mother.

Who Plays Psychic Tish In Ted Lasso Season 3?

English actress Emma Davies plays the role of Psychic Tish in Ted Sasso Season 3. She is friends with Deborah, Rebecca’s mother.

In the recent episode of the comedy-drama, Welton visits her mom’s psychic which throws her off her axis when Tish starts reading her future. She reveals she is going to be a mother and will have a family.

Speaking about the actress, Emma, portraying the character of the Psychic is the daughter of Geoffrey Davies, an actor known for his role in the comedy series Doctor in the House.

Her father had a significant influence on her choosing her career. Geoffrey would often take her to watch his stage performances.

He also landed Davies her first role at 18 months in the sitcom The Fenn Street Gang in the 1970s. She was later featured in a television ad for Colgate toothpaste at age 14.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 3 Recap

Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 3 (titled 4-5-1) opens with Colin’s story. It delves deep into why he needs to chant, “I am a strong and capable man.”

In another scene, Zava, a mercurial striker, has signed up with Richmond but he is absent on the day he is supposed to join the team. Meanwhile, all the press and Richmond staff await his arrival for hours.

Later, we find him waiting for Rebecca alone in her office. But so far, Zava appears reasonably friendly. The coaches later reveal he will be taking all free kicks and penalty kicks.

Jamie, who was named the team’s best player before his arrival, is clearly nonplussed.

Zava scores a goal from midfield at the opening of his first game. The endless streak of the team’s wins commences, all thanks to him, with barely any other athlete earning a goal.

During this chase, Ted finds out Doctor Jacob is his former wife’s new boyfriend. It brings down his spirits as the doctor has been holding sessions and aiding him and Michelle to get back together.

Conversely, Welton agrees to visit the Psychic. She ends up walking away after Tish starts showering loads of riddles and says she’ll have a family.

Meantime, the winning streak continues for the team and it’s clear the Zava effect is working its magic. However, Jamie wants to take control of the game instead of relying on Zava.

In the next scene, Welton attends the opening of Sam’s new restaurant, where he hands out a green matchbook. She finally catches Tish’s words despite her initial skepticism.

Yet, the curiosity remains. Is Sam Rebecca’s shite in inning armor, or is it someone else?
