If his work with Childish Gambino introduced him to the public, his continued work as a composer and scorer has made sure that he will be remembered for much more than his collaborations.

Who Is Ludwig Goransson Wife Serena McKinney?

Ludwig Goransson wife Serena McKinney is a violinist. She is a member of the Janaki String Trio. Like her husband, Serena has also composed for many movies.

Hailing from Utah, Serena has been playing the violin since a young age and was even a part of the Utah Symphony while still in high school.

Much to everyone’s surprise, upon graduation, the violinist eschewed more popular music schools like Juilliard and the Manhattan School of Music for the Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California.

According to a feature by DeseretNews, the musician picked Colburn precisely due to its small size, as with only 31 students enrolled, everyone can get to know each other well, and also have a good relationship with the faculty.

Serena gained fame as a member of the Janaki String Trio alongside Katie Kadararuch on Viola, and Arnold Chori on the Violoncello.

In her film career, Serena has played or conducted for over 98 movies according to her IMDb page and even worked alongside Goransson in some. Most of her work has been in sci-fi and fantasy films like Tenet and the Mandalorian.

Ludwig And Serena Married Life And Relationship

Ludwig Goransson Serena McKinney got married in 2018. The two have been in a happy relationship since then.

Though outwardly private, as neither likes to talk about their relationship in interviews, both Ludwig and Serena often accompany each other during movie premieres. In fact, most of the pictures that exist of the two online have been from red-carpet events, where both partners are known for wearing very fashionable clothes.

As both have worked extensively in film, their worlds have often coincided, with the biggest example being when Serena worked as a concertmaster for four episodes of The Mandalorian where Ludwig is one of the primary scorers. Aside from their musical work together, the two have kept their relationship spectacularly private.

However, one hilarious instance of an interaction between the two online was when Serena posted a picture of herself with Tae-hyung on Instagram.

Goransson cheekily teased her for the picture while the violinist thanked her husband for supporting her crush on the BTS member, though sadly, she has since privatized her Instagram account.

Ludwig And Serena Have A Son named Apollo

Ludwig Goransson son Apollo was born in September 2019. The child was born a year after his parents were married.

According to an article by the LA Times, had his child soon after he began wrapping up his highly acclaimed work on the Disney show, The Mandalorian.

In fact, a year later, around Apollo’s first birthday, the producer would share a picture with his son, with the little boy wearing a hat showing the character Grogu from the Mandalorian.

However, just like with his wife, the producer has not talked much about his son in interviews, and in fact, aside from the aforementioned picture, has not shared much about his son online.

Still, that one picture was a hit, with many fans commenting on how similar Goransson’s son looks like him.

As for Serena, she attended various events and red carpets while pregnant with Apollo and mentioned how happy she was waiting for the birth of her son.

However, given that she has since privatized her social media, there are few pictures of them together.
