Teresa Patricia Rhomberg was born on September 15, 1953 in Vienna, Austria, and is a former pornographic film actress who worked in the 1970s. She was working as a medical assistant when she met the German filmmaker Hans Billian, with whom she struck up a romance and later married. In 1975, she appeared in Bienenstich im Liebesnest (the soft version was titled Im Gasthaus zum scharfen Hirschen and was also known as Zimmermädchen machen es gern), directed by Billian, in which she played “Graziella Schill,” a woman who is chasing after her elderly husband after he has cheated on her with another woman. She does not engage in extreme activity in this video; the most graphic sexual act is a short footjob towards the end of the film. In 1976, Billian cast her in the lead role of Josefine Mutzenbacher – Wie sie wirklich war (known in English as Sensational Janine) in the first part of the porn classic Josefine Mutzenbacher – Wie sie wirklich war (known in English as Sensational Janine), in which she portrays the Vienna prostitute Josefine Mutzenbacher, in part because she had the appropriate dialect for it. She became famous in Germany as a result of this film: Rhomberg had sexual encounters with 10 men (eight in the shorter version of the German DVD), including Frithjof Klausen, who portrays her stepfather, with the exception of two men on whom she merely performs fellatio and/or handjobs (see below).  In the book, Josefine is 14 years old, however there is no mention of her age in the film’s screenplay. In his review of the film, Jim Holliday said that it was “probably the finest and most accurate of many films based on the life and exploits of famous Viennese madam Josephine Mutzenbacher” and that it was his “all-time foreign favourite” adult film. Shocking Janine was “one of the most popular foreign x-rated pictures to cross the Atlantic,” and it is “now regarded as one of the greatest pornographic films of all time,” according to the film’s producers. Kasimir der Kuckuckskleber, in which she appeared in 1977, was her first film role. Her character was “Larissa Holm,” a “fun-loving” young lady who decides to go into prostitution with “Kasimir Zwickelhuber” (played by Sepp Gneißl) in order to pay off some debts. She was cast as “Larissa Holm” in the film. Additionally, she appeared in a number of hardcore loops directed by Billian, including Venus in Seide and Schwarzer Orgasmus, which were among the earliest instances of interracial pornography on the German porn scene and were among the first to feature interracial couples. In addition to her acting career, she also worked as a fluffer for other Billian films throughout her time in the industry. It seems that she had a short cameo appearance in the film Heiße Locher, geile Stecher, which was reportedly filmed before Josefine Mutzenbacher… wie sie tatsächlich war? Even before Bienenstich am Liebesnest, which was released much later, there was another film called The Kiss. She ended her relationship with Billian in 1978 and returned to her previous career.
