Alexis Knief is the wife of Timothy David Olyphant an American actor. The couple has been married for more than 30 years.

The pair met while students at the University of Southern California, back when Olyphant was an “artsy jock” on the swim team and far from famous.

Married in 1991, the couple has raised three children together: Grace, Henry and Vivian. Their secret to a lasting relationship? “You have to be with the right person, and you both have to be willing to do the work, day in and day out, to make it happen,” Olyphant told Women’s Health in 2011.

In an interview, Timothy Olyphant stated that it is difficult to find such a perfect bonding as theirs in Hollywood. Knief’s personal attitude is that she is a simple and beautiful woman who has always remained behind the scenes.

She usually avoids the media and only appears at special events with her husband. She has always been a steadfast supporter of Olyphant throughout his career and is widely regarded as the driving force behind his success.
