Is She In Jail For Dustin Wehde Murder?

Dustin Wehde’s death was assumed to be in self-defense at first. He was shot nine times from two separate guns

The incident had happened on December 13, 2001, at the home of  Richter and Michael.

According to Tracey, Dustin and an unknown man barged through her unlocked door. They had strangled her with a pair of pantyhose.

After managing to escape, the lady had used her 9 mm semi-automatic handgun to shoot Dustin.

When that gun was emptied, she grabbed a revolver and killed him. Meanwhile, the strange man had gotten away.

Tracey claimed, “I did what I had to do to protect my family.” No charges were made upon the lady after hearing from her.

After some years, Tracey tried to frame her husband Michael. She also claimed he broke into her car in 2009 and left photos of Dustin’s body inside.

However, no evidence of break-in was ever found. A theory also suggests that Tracey wanted to kill Dustin to implicate John, in her murder.

Richter was arrested at a mall in Omaha and charged with first-degree murder. She faced life in prison and was extradited back to Iowa.
