Bacharach continued to create music in the 1970s and 1980s, a time when he frequently made appearances on television and at concerts. One of his significant works was the score he and David co-wrote for the 1973 musical adaptation of “Lost Horizon.”

The picture, which was a box office and critical dud, led to various legal disputes between the two men as well as with Warwick.

Was Burt Bacharach still married before his death? Is Jane Hansen still married to Burt Bacharach?

Yes, Burt was married to Jane before his death. Bacharach wed Paula Stewart, an actress, as his first wife in 1953. In 1958, the couple got a divorce. Bacharach later married Angie Dickinson, an actress, with whom he had a daughter named Nikki. Nikki, who struggled with Asperger syndrome, committed herself in 2007.

The couple separated in 1980. In his third marriage, Bacharach wed lyricist Carole Bayer Sager; they had a son they called Christopher and were married for eight years before divorcing in 1991.

Bacharach married Jane Hansen, with whom he had two children, Oliver and Raleigh, two years later. Until his death on February 8, 20233, Burt was still wed to Jane, to whom he had been wedded for thirty years.
