Jenny Hanley currently presents a show on Boom Radio.

Jenny’s journey in radio has been as dynamic as her television career. She has been a regular presenter on BBC Radio Berkshire, contributing her distinctive style to the airwaves. The rhythm of her voice and the seamless flow of music and interviews became a signature aspect of her radio shows.

Hanley’s foray into the world of entertainment includes memorable appearances on both the big and small screens. She graced the James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” in 1969, showcasing her talent alongside the iconic spy. Her filmography also boasts roles in “The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes” (1970) and the Hammer horror film “Scars of Dracula” (1970). On television, she left an imprint with roles in popular series like “Department S,” “The Persuaders!,” and “Return of the Saint.”

However, it was her role as one of the presenters of the ITV children’s magazine program “Magpie” from 1974 to 1980 that solidified her place in the hearts of viewers. The show became a staple for young audiences, and Hanley’s engaging presence contributed to its success.
