People are piqued to know where Mike Greenberg is today and is he leaving Get Up? Michael Robinette Greenberg is an author, a television anchor, and a radio show host for ESPN and ABC.

At ESPN, Mike presented SportsCenter on weekday evenings, most notably Mondays, and formerly the Mike & Mike show with Mike Golic on ESPN Radio.

He presented Duel on ABC’s sister network from 2007 to 2008, and he co-hosted Battle of the Network Stars with Joe Tessitore.

Ryan Smith Takes Over As Host Of Get Up! After Mike Greenberg Reveals He Has COVID

It’s never a good moment to test positive for COVID, but it’s more challenging when you do as much on-air as Mike Greenberg does at ESPN.

Nonetheless, if that occurs, the only thing you can do is flee and recover, which is precisely what Greeny is doing.

Greenberg said he tested positive for COVID and was suffering relatively mild symptoms in a tweet on Sunday morning. Greeny has stated that he will return to the airwaves on Friday.

This suggests there will be some reorganization at ESPN this week.

Sorry to say I have to miss the beginning of the year, after I tested positive this week. I’m doing fine, very manageable symptoms. Family is fine. I’ll be back on the air Friday. Happy New Year everybody, enjoy the games. I’ll really miss being there to talk about them with you.

Due to the holiday season, there have already been several guest hosts on Greeny, so unless Greenberg works remotely, that will likely be continued into this week. At the same time, Ryan Smith took over hosting duties on Get Up on Monday.

Greeny isn’t the only well-known ESPN personality to contract COVID.

Stephen A. Smith revealed he had COVID a week and a half ago but could still remotely jump on First Take and roast the Brooklyn Nets.

Let’s hope Greeny regains his health and returns to the airwaves as soon as possible.

Is Mike Greenberg Leaving Get Up?

Mike Greenberg isn’t going anywhere with Get Up. He is ill, so he may not appear on the show for a few days.

In a Jewish household, Mike grew up in New York and graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1985.

Greenberg graduated from Northwestern University in 1989 and began working as a sports anchor and reporter at WMAQ-AM in Chicago, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity.

In 1992, he left WMAQ to work for WSCR-Radio as a reporter and talk show host, covering the World Series and the Super Bowl.

He also published a weekly syndicated column for the Copley News Service in California from 1993 to 1995.

Mike Greenberg Wife Married To His Wife Stacy Greenberg

Since 1997, Mike Greenberg and Stacy have been married. In Chicago, the happy couple met.

At first, Stacy was the family’s breadwinner, while Mike pursued a career in sports radio. Stacy made a name for herself in the marketing industry.

While all wives think their husbands are idiots on some level, Stacy joked that Mike is truly unique.

Most wives believe their husbands are fools on some level, she said. She married one of the world’s most innovative, funniest, and most talented men, yet he’s an idiot in certain groups.

Nicole and Stephen, Mike and Stacy’s children, were born.

Everyone in the sports world is naturally busy in the fall, but the Greenbergs appear to be spending a lot of time with their family.
