Love in Zion National was filmed in Zion National Park and Kanab in Utah. The shooting was wrapped in April 2023.

It is directed by Sam Irvin and written by Jacob Cooney and Bryar Freed.

While Lauren (Cindy Busby) starts a journey to find the fourth vase to donate to Pueblo Nation, she meets park ranger Adam Proudstra.

She is lost in Zion National Park, where the park ranger helps her to solve her quest. It leads to the competition when the curator’s assistant boss Grady Hollingston sends a crew to find the ancient vase.

Meanwhile, Lauren and Adam spent six days in God’s country, which leads them to fall deeper for each other.

The weather became a vital challenge for the crew members while shooting the movie. However, they got the perfect shot for the summer flick.

Where Was Love in Zion National Filmed?

Love in Zion National was filmed entirely in Utah. The filming locations include Zion National Park and Souther Kanab area.

They mostly shot in Zion National Park because it is the premise used in the movie. The characters hike the trails surrounding the park to find the fourth vase.

They find the hidden passage through the mountains.

Lauren first meets Adam when she is lost in the mountain. They shared the view of the north of the Arizona state line.

The Hallmark channel also shot another national park romance movie Glacier National Park Rescue. It was filmed in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. The series continued with the theme of the previous winter movie.

While it’s shot in winter, this new original one was created as a summer movie.

Zion Mt. Ranch Resort

The crew members started their journey through Zion Mt. Ranch Resort. They stayed there while enjoying its recreation, lodging, and dining.

It is the best adventure resort on Zion National Park’s east side.

On day 1 of shooting, the production designer Cameron Barrett mentioned they met with snow at Zion Mt. Ranch Resort in Utah.

The art director shared the beautiful view of snowing on the sites on the Instagram page. He even conveyed the camping in Kanab, Utah, while enjoying the sunset.

While shooting on the stunning mountains, the crew member enjoyed exploring the beautiful Emerald Pool hike and horse riding.

Southern Kanab, Utah

They faced challenges while shooting the summer movie in Utah due to its weather conditions.

The crew member constantly fought against the weather while shooting. As a result, it was the best and worst experience of the crew’s lives.

They wanted to make a summer movie, and Utah never got their request for sunshine as it showered with lovely snow almost daily.

The Soratola LLC producer Elizabeth Soto-Lara said the group artist made the impossible possible by melting snow, hiking mountains, and riding ATVs to get the perfect shot.

Raechele Alldridge showed the crew beautiful Utah and told them stories and legends.

The editor Aaron Kesler added they spent 2.5 weeks in southern Utah. They were snowed upon while filming the summer movie, which was not ideal.

However, the excruciating power of movie magic pulled through once again to work on the project.

Overall, it was a memorable adventure for them.

On March 27, the actress Cindy shared the view of the locations. She added not to get fooled by the sun because it was cold while filming.

Fans even felt every step must be breathtaking in Utah as there is so much beauty in nature.

Christmas Land, Check Inn to Christmas, and Christmas Under Wraps are some Hallmark flicks shot in Utah.

Besides this, Destined at Christmas was also shot in Utah.
