Meninder Dhaliwal, a 29-year-old Brother Keepers member, was recently shot to death. After that, many people are curious to learn more about Samroop and Sumdish Gill, who are also a part of the gang conflict.

After a Brothers Keepers gangster who lost his brother in a targeted attack in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour last year was shot and killed on Sunday in Whistler, several people were arrested.

Meninder Dhaliwal, a 29-year-old Brother Keepers member, was with a friend named Satindera Gill when they were shot in the area around the Sundial Hotel in the center of Whistler Village. Satinder Gill was not a part of the gang.

Dhaliwal passed away there, while Gill died of his injuries later at the nearby hospital. On April 17, 2021, Harb, Dhaliwal’s older brother, was shot and killed in Coal Harbour.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team clarified late Sunday that the shooting is connected to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict.

The United Nations gang and some Scorpions have been fighting Brother Keepers violently for the past few years. Frequently, after the members and associates of one group are killed, someone will retaliate days or even weeks later.

Samroop Gill, 28, and Sumdish Gill, 27, are two of the high-profile targeted gangsters of Brothers Keepers. They were among the suspects connected to the Lower Mainland gang conflict of the past year.

BC’s anti-gang agency had released the names and photographs of 11 Lower Mainland gangsters who were asked to pose a risk to anyone caught in their path.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit also issued a public alert regarding the men allegedly involved in recent gang disputes and brazen public shootings.

Moreover, the general public was cautioned against approaching the people because they could end up the victims of future violence.

Samroop Gill and Sumdish Gill: Dead Or Alive?

So far, the whereabouts of Brother Keeper gangsters Samroop Gill and Sumdish Gill is unclear, and it is also unsure whether they are alive or dead.

They have recently been the topic of conversation among people since a Brothers Keepers gang member was shot and killed in Whistler on Sunday. Two people have been detained in connection with the incident.

In the vicinity of Skier’s Plaza, a Brothers Keepers gang member named Meninder Dhaliwal was fatally shot and killed. Behind the hotel’s Sundial and Pan Pacific, the incident happened not far from the base of Whistler Mountain.

In the Blueberry Hill area, a burnt car was found; suspect vehicles have recently been involved in gang-related killings and had their cars set on fire after being hit.

According to a press release from Sea to Sky RCMP, officers were called to a nearby hotel at about 12:29 p.m. after hearing reports of the shooting.

Likewise, as reported by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) and other units assist local detectives. The United Nations gang and some Red Scorpions have been at odds with the Brother’s Keepers for several years.

It is common for one group to murder its members and associates; then, days or weeks later, someone strikes back.
