In 2016, troubling pictures showed the harm that a bird strike had done to a Saudi Middle Eastern Carriers carrier. A traveler in Jeddah saw a huge opening in the left wing of an Airbus A333. After looking into it further, team tracked down a dead bird, perhaps a hawk, implanted in the plane.
