Veteran NFL journalist Dianna Russini is taking action from ESPN to The Athletic to turn into its driving NFL insider. Following eight years at ESPN, Russini’s choice to change to The Athletic comes in spite of a proposal of a raise to remain with the organization. She is set to begin her new job at The Athletic, where she will contribute NFL stories, partake in video content, and draw in with web recordings.

The Athletic, a membership based sports news source, was gained by The New York Times for $550 million in mid 2022.
