Mark Zuckerberg isn’t the only former student who has a knack for inventing great things from the comfort of his dorm room.

Drexel University, where he completed his degree, he had the motivation to start his own company during his first year.

He met his co-founder and co-CEO of the company Yajir Gola on the first season of their Business 101. Within a year, the two had launched goPuff from the comfort of their undergraduate dorm room.

Ilishayev may now be the CEO of one of America’s most successful start-ups, but he was content to serve as the company’s primary delivery guy when he established goPuff.

“It was simply Yakir and me for the first four months of the firm, making deliveries seven days a week, every day till four a.m. to anybody in our delivery zone in Philadelphia,” Ilishayev told technical.ly.
