Saqlain Mushtaq was born on December 29, 1976, in Lahore. He is a British Pakistani cricket coach. He is also a YouTuber and a former cricketer who used to play for the Pakistani national cricket team.

He is currently the head coach of the Pakistani national cricket team.

Mushtaq made his debut appearance at the One Day International (ODI) in September 1995. This match was against Sri Lanka at the Municipal Stadium, which is located at Gujranwala.

He could not take a wicket, but Pakistan was the winning team that day, winning with nine wickets. Mushtaq is recognized as one of the best spin bowlers in cricket history. He was appointed coach of the team last month.

He is also well known for pioneering the “doosra”, a leg break delivery that is bowled with an off-break action. Mushtaq was the fastest bowler to take 100 wickets in the history of One Day International (ODI) cricket. This record was only broken in 2016.

Mushtaq is married. His wife is Sana Mushtaq. Not much is known about her. But Mushtaq recounted how his wife saved his life when angry fans planned to break his legs.

The fans were angry because Pakistan lost to Australia in the 1999 World Cup final, and they heard a player was in the casino. They thought he was the one and were ready to beat him, but his wife’s timely appearance saved him.
