The incident occurred during the BET Awards on Sunday night (Jun. 25), following Lil Uzi Vert’s electrifying opening performance of their hit song “I Just Wanna Rock.” While the night started on a high note for the Philadelphia artist, it quickly took a turn for the worse during a confrontation with JT.

Video footage of the incident circulated on social media, capturing the heated exchange between the couple. In the clip, JT can be seen shouting angrily at Lil Uzi Vert, accusing him of being a “groupie.” The tensions escalated as she repeatedly struck him with her phone, venting her frustration.

As the argument unfolded, JT’s emotions intensified, and she continued to hurl expletives at Lil Uzi Vert. Witnesses at the scene reported hearing her call him an “F###### groupie” and witnessed her storming off in a fit of anger.

Speculation among fans quickly arose, with many pointing fingers at Ice Spice, a fellow rapper who had been rumored to be involved in the couple’s dispute. However, no concrete evidence has emerged linking Ice Spice to the altercation at this time.

Both Lil Uzi Vert and JT have remained relatively silent about the incident, refraining from making public statements or addressing the issue on social media. This has only fueled the curiosity and speculation surrounding the details of their argument.

It’s worth noting that tumultuous relationships are not uncommon in the entertainment industry, where emotions can run high due to the pressures of fame, hectic schedules, and intense public scrutiny. However, it remains uncertain what triggered this particular outburst between Lil Uzi Vert and JT.
