Tina Fey has a small scar on the left side of her face, just below her mouth. The scar has been visible on so many occasions. While it has never affected her journey in the entertainment industry, many of her fans are curious to know who she got the scar.

According to Wikipedia, she got a scar on her face when she was just 5 years old when she was playing in the front yard of her house in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, and a stranger approached her and slashed her face with a knife. The tragedy left her with a visible scar, a daily reminder of what had happened.

She previously revealed that the scar started bothering her after she entered the entertainment business. She explained,

I proceeded unaware of it. I was a very confident little kid. It’s really almost like I’m kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of ‘Oh, I guess we should use this side’ or whatever. Everybody’s got a better side.

Similarly, she has emphasized how she learned to embrace it as a part of herself and how it does not define her multiple times. In her autobiography Bossypants, she tells how, as a child, she would tell people numerous imaginary stories about how she got the scar, including a daring encounter with a strange figure in the Alps.
